Caamp is an American indie folk band from Columbus, Ohio, formed by childhood friends Taylor Meier and Evan Westfall. The group began as a project between Meier and Westfall, later adding Matt Vinson, Joseph Kavalec, and Nicholas Falk, and it is described as an acoustic guitar and banjo-driven act with heartfelt delivery. After a self-titled debut in 2016, Caamp released the six-song Boys EP in 2018, then By & By in 2019, which reached number one on the Billboard Heatseekers Albums chart. Their third studio album, Lavender Days, arrived in 2022 and included the single ’Believe,’ which reached number one on the triple-A and Americana charts.
